Description

The RYOBI RY48111 48V 38 in. 100Ah Battery Electric Rear Engine Riding Lawn Mower provides cordless mowing performance without gasoline, oil changes, spark plugs, or other routine gas-engine maintenance. Its electric power system uses three brushless motors to provide power for the drive and cutting systems while delivering quieter operation than a traditional gas-powered riding mower.

The mower is powered by a 48V 100Ah sealed lead-acid battery system capable of providing up to approximately 2.5 hours of runtime and mowing up to approximately 2.5 acres per charge under suitable operating conditions. Charging can be performed using a standard 120V household outlet.

A 38-inch steel cutting deck uses two blades to provide efficient coverage for residential lawns. The manual deck-height system offers 12 cutting positions ranging from approximately 1.5 to 4.5 inches, allowing the cutting height to be adjusted for different lawn conditions.

The RY48111 supports side-discharge and mulching applications, while a compatible grass-collection system is available separately. Its compact rear-engine configuration and approximately 16-inch turning radius help with maneuvering around landscaping and other obstacles.
